  1. Take 15- 16 seedless dates in a bowl and pour 3/4 cup hot milk. Cover the bowl for 20 min and keep it aside. Take 20-25 almonds in a bowl pour 100 ml hot water cover the bowl and keep it aside for 20 min.
  2. Take a tray or pot or bowls in which you will be baking the cake. Take a butter paper and spread that at the bottom of the tray or bowls and grease it with ghee.
  3. If you want to make this cake in a kadhai you can use any steel utensils (bowl)/silicon bowls and grease them with ghee. Take a big bowl. Sieve 1 cup (150 ml) all purpose flour, 1/2 tabsp baking powder, 1/4 tbsp baking soda and a pinch of salt together while mixing them and keep the mixture aside.
  4. Now peel soaked almonds and cut them in thin slices. Now take soaked dates with milk and 1/2 cup Ruchiyana Jaggery Powder and grind them in mixer grinder
  5. Transfer the Jaggery Powder and date paste into the bowl
  6. Add 1/2 cup melted butter mix it well
  7. Add 1/4 tbsp cinnamon powder and mix them well
  8. Add sieved items into the same and mix it well
  9. Add half of the almonds slice into the mixture
  10. Now paste half of the batter into the greased pot/bowl and garnish them with other half of the almonds slices and bake it for 25-30 min in oven at 180°c. Don't forget to preheat the oven before placing the batter into the same. After 25-30 min you can take out the cake out of oven and check if it’s cooked properly or not by using toothpick and your oven based cake is ready!
  11. Now if you want to make it in a Kadhai, you can use silicone paper bowls or steel bowls. Paste batter in greased bowls, garnish it with almond slices. Now take a big kadhai and preheat it for 4-5 min on high flame.
  12. Place a stand in the Kadhai. Place steel plate on that stand and place silicon moulds on the plate cover and bake it for 20 min on medium/low heat. After 20 min do the same procedure using toothpick to check whether the cake is cooked or not. Now your healthy cake is ready
